Automotive repair and diagnostics involve serious risks that, if not properly managed, can result in severe bodily injury, permanent disability, or death.

KISS Diagnostics, its owners, operators, associates, contributors, affiliates, distributors, and any and all parties involved in the creation, publication, or distribution of the Materials (collectively referred to herein as "KISS Diagnostics") expressly disclaim all liability of any kind — whether direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or otherwise — for any of the following arising from or in connection with the use, misuse, or reliance upon the Materials:

• Injury to persons, including but not limited to minor injury, serious bodily injury, permanent disability, and death
• Damage to vehicles, including partial or total loss of the vehicle being serviced or any other vehicle

• Damage to property, including but not limited to structures, facilities, and surrounding property
• Financial loss of any kind, including loss of income, business interruption, or consequential economic damages
• Any other loss or harm of any nature whatsoever, whether foreseeable or not at the time of use

This limitation of liability applies regardless of the legal theory under which any claim is brought, including negligence, strict liability, breach of warranty, or any other legal or equitable theory, and shall apply even if KISS Diagnostics has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

The user assumes full and sole responsibility for their own safety and the safety of all other persons in the vicinity of any work performed using the Materials. It is the user's exclusive responsibility to identify, understand, and comply with all applicable vehicle-specific safety procedures before commencing any diagnostic or repair work, including but not limited to:

• High-voltage system shutdown, discharge, and isolation procedures for hybrid and electric vehicles
• Fuel system depressurization and fire prevention procedures
• SRS / airbag system disabling and safe handling protocols
• Cooling system pressure relief and hot fluid handling procedures
• Air conditioning system refrigerant handling and discharge procedures
• Exhaust and carbon monoxide safety procedures
• Brake system hydraulic pressure relief procedures
• Any and all other manufacturer-prescribed safety protocols relevant to the vehicle and procedure

Appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) — including but not limited to safety glasses, face shields, insulated gloves, chemical-resistant gloves, protective footwear, hearing protection, and any other equipment required by the nature of the work — must be worn at all times. KISS Diagnostics expressly disclaims any and all liability for any outcome resulting from the failure to follow appropriate safety procedures or wear appropriate PPE.

Do-it-yourself vehicle repair and diagnostics carry significant and serious risk for persons without formal automotive training, certification, or experience. Many procedures described in KISS Diagnostics reference materials — particularly those involving high-voltage hybrid and electric vehicle systems, fuel delivery systems, airbag and SRS systems, brake hydraulics, and emissions control systems — should only be performed by individuals who possess the appropriate training, tools, equipment, and facilities required to perform such work safely and legally.

KISS Diagnostics strongly and explicitly recommends that DIY users seek the assistance of a licensed and qualified automotive technician for any procedure they are not fully trained, equipped, and confident to perform safely. KISS Diagnostics accepts no liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, loss, or adverse outcome resulting from a DIY user performing procedures beyond their training, skill level, or available equipment.

However, KISS Diagnostics makes no warranty, express or implied, as to the accuracy, completeness, currency, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose of any information contained in the Materials.

Vehicle manufacturers regularly update service procedures, technical specifications, software calibrations, wiring diagrams, parts specifications, technical service bulletins (TSBs), safety protocols, and recall notices. • Verify all open recalls through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) database at nhtsa.gov or Transport Canada at tc.gc.ca prior to performing any repair

If a file is genuinely defective — wrong content, a corrupted download, or missing pages — contact support@kissdiagnostics.com and we will correct or replace it. • Not permitted: selling, reselling, renting, sublicensing or otherwise distributing the Materials, or any part of them, in any form

KISS Diagnostics may revoke your license, without refund, if you breach these terms, and reserves the right to take legal action against unauthorized copying or distribution.

Vehicle manufacturer names, brand names, product names, system names and other trademarks mentioned in the Materials or on this website (including, without limitation, manufacturers, scan tool makers and repair information providers) are the property of their respective owners and are used only to identify the vehicles, systems or products being discussed. KISS Diagnostics is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or connected to any vehicle manufacturer or any other third party named. The Materials are independent reference works and are not official manufacturer documentation.

KISS Diagnostics collects only the information needed to run the business. Depending on how you use this website, that may include your name and email address, the contents of messages you send us, and the information you provide when you make a purchase.
